Our guiding principals of All Sports Camps offered throughout the year @ Riverside Academy

Our mission is to provide engaging, age appropriate sports and movement curriculum in a safe and intentionally designed space to allow for children to learn, grow, and explore new disciplines by exposing each camper to a comprehensive schedule of games and instruction, mixing in a little bit of silliness, all with the aim to instill a love of sports, teamwork, and self for each camper who joins our diverse community of participants!

Open to boys and girls ages 5-12 (2022 saw 71% male and 29% female registrations)
While we won't sell or promise a five star athlete when your child comes home, (though, we absolutely love to see the huge transformation and improvements our campers earn through their effort) we can assure your child will come home TIRED, happy, confident in their progress while being ready to discuss all the fun they had today and how excited they are for tomorrow!

Camp Groups Breakdown

Riverside Academy All Sports Camps Provided by JPLEX have three camp divisions:

  • Little Sluggers (5-6 yrs)
  • Emerging Stars (7-9 yrs)
  • Hall of Famers (10-12 yrs)

The intention of this breakdown format is to ensure an environment that is safe for all campers, and delivers the most appropriate level of instruction and gameplay. We understand that age is not always the best metric to use when identifying the best environment for each child so we do allow ourselves (with parental input and consent) to place a camper in the best group even if they don't fit the listed age range.

I absolutely love Junction Place Sportsplex and all of the programming they provide both inside and outside of their building! All of the staff are super friendly. My son absolutely enjoys the individualized baseball lessons and has a blast at summer camp . My son has not only grown as a baseball player but it’s the overall genuine concern for my son’s happiness and enjoyment while playing the sport that i appreciate.. The staff are super responsive to all requests and questions. Their facility and partner facilities are all well maintained and we are so glad that we stumbled upon this sport’s gem.— Brandi G
