Team Practice @ JPLEX!

  • TEAM RESERVATION PROPOSALS FOR FALL 2024 & SPRING 2025
  • Weekly Team Rentals are open to Youth or Adult Teams participating in Baseball, Softball, Soccer or Flag Football and are scheduled on the same day of the week and time of day for 1 Month (aka 4 consecutive weeks) up to 12 Months! This is our most utilized service and space will soon become VERY LIMITED!
  • Available BASEBALL and SOFTBALL rentals include 1-Hour of Indoor Field Access and 45 Minutes of Access to (2) Batting Cages (pitching lane must be requested), (2) Batting Tees/Soft Toss

Rental Types/Availability

Weekly Team Practices are by far our most common and most in-demand reservation type. Available for Soccer/ Flag Football and other field sports, about 95% of our reservations see Travel, Rec, or School Baseball/ Softball teams. These reservations often fill out all available resources during the peak months of September-November & January- June with contracts being agreed upon, signed and serviced months in advance. One-Time Baseball/Softball Team Practice Rentals are $185 and include access to our Indoor Field for 1-hour and access to (2) Batting Cages and (2) Batting Tee stations for 45 minutes to be scheduled either before or after the field when those resources are available (limited). Team Batting Cage Rental (good for up to 12 players) is $85 and includes access to (2) Batting Cages and (2) Batting Tee Stations for 1-hour. Reservation required.

Indoor Field Rentals are available for up to 12 players (text 504-356-1812 to request access for more players) and are $115/Hour

Individual Cage Rentals are available on a first-come/first-serve basis at a cost of $17.00/ 30 Minutes or $22.00/Hour. Reservations include access to balls, bats, helmets, and batting tee and include up to 4 individuals. Please know we do not use pitching machines so guests looking to hit "live pitching" will need to have someone to pitch to them.

Over the past 24 months Junction Place Sportsplex has served as a practice facility for over 70 teams and organizations operating in the Metropolitan Area. Our experience has allowed us to better understand what teams and their families need and what steps we can take to meet and exceed those needs. 

Connecting with Customers!

We have come to understand that while universal threads exist, there is not a “one size fits all” model with meeting Team Reservation Request.

All customers have  a desire for straightforward scheduling and pricing, a clean and well maintained facility and professional and approachable staff members. However,we respect that each individual team and organization has different parameters in which to operate.

It is this understanding and the responsibility associated with being the premier indoor training facility in the region, that we have put together a Team Practice Request for Reservation. This process allows us to remain as accessible to all while at the same time, balancing the realities outlined below: 


  • Demand for our space and services often outpaces our supply.
  • Most desired days/times are Tues-Thurs 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 PM 
  • Our building is not physically large enough to include additional perks such as monthly memberships, ability to host try-outs/showcases and options for flexible scheduling for all teams interested in our services


Given the reality facing both us as an organization and our large customer base, we have again decided to craft a schedule for the Fall/Winter 2024 & Spring 2025 by collecting information from interested parties, comparing that data against other request and availability, and using our established value system to determine which request work best with the overall operation and mission of Junction Place Sportsplex!


Who?

Teams (Youth or Adult Baseball/ Softball/ Soccer/Flag Football) that are organized with either an independent organization, group or school, that want to utilize our Indoor Field, Batting Cages OR Both Field and Batting Cages on a regular basis of at least once a week (request can be made for more than once a week but likelihood of “Volume Pricing” is low).  This rental request is called a Weekly Team Practice Rental.

What? 

Weekly Team Practice Rentals are conducted with an, at least, once a week scheduled time/location @ Jplex and at least for one month (4- consecutive weeks)

When?

FALL 2024: Is outlined as starting on August 1 and ending on November 18, 2024

  • Weekly Team Practice Rental Request for Reservation is CURRENTLY OPEN 
  • JPLEX will NOT confirm any Fall 2024 Weekly Team Practice Rentals until Friday, July 26, 2024
  • Fall 2024 Request for Reservation CAN INCLUDE Winter 2024/25 & Spring 2025


Winter 2024/2025: Is outlined as a specific (6) Week Period of November 28- January 6

  • Details about remaining availability, open and closed request period, and price parameters will be provided during Fall 2024 when we confirm Fall 2024 reservations that may or may not include Winter 2024/25


Spring 2025: Is outlined as starting on January 9, 2025 and ending on June 30, 2025

  • Details about remaining availability, open and closed request period, and price parameters will be provided during Fall 2024 when we confirm Fall 2024 reservations that may or may not include Winter 2024/25 AND Spring 2025


Weekly Team Practice Rentals can be scheduled M-F from 3:00-9:00 PM

Tiers, Ranges and Priorities

Tiers and Payment Ranges: We have broken down available Indoor Field times (most in demand, yet, limited resource) into 4- Tiers: 


  • Tier 1 (Highest Demand)- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 6:00-7:00 PM (Payment Range- $60/month/participant- $75/month/participant)
  • Tier 2- Monday 6:00-7:00 AND Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 7:00-8:00 PM (Payment Range- $55/month/participant- $65/month/participant)
  • Tier 3- Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays 8:00-9:00 PM (Payment Range- $50/month/participant- $60/month/participant)
  • Tier 4 (Lowest Demand)- Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 5:00-6:00 PM (Payment Range- $50/month/participant- $55/month/participant

Priorities Below are the factors that we will consider when evaluating multiple requests for the same Day/ Time 

  • Length of Proposal- How many months will a team/organization reserve and pay for the requested day/time (more time = more desirable)
  • Volume of Proposal- How many participants will a team/organization include in their proposal for a single or multiple time frames 
  • Number of Payments/Payees- Will there be a single, one time payment for requested time (most desirable)? Will there be a single source of payment on multiple occasions (i.e. single check each month for a full team or organization)? Will the expectation be that the individual members of each Team or Organization pay JPS directly (doable but least desired)?
  • History with JPS- Has your team or organization used our facility before?
